CHELSEA THOMAS
Putting together events is what I do, it’s what I always wanted to do, and is what I like to do. Putting together events that are amazing in all ways, that’s what I love to do. I’m all about the details and I see all challenges as opportunities for greatness. My why? Because I believe that life is meant to be celebrated and celebrated well.
JERRY SHIPMAN
When I was a general manager at a nightclub in San Diego, my favorite thing to do after a long day of work would be to sip on an old fashioned, stand next to the DJ booth, and look above the sea of people to see them dancing and having the time of their lives. I liked being the entertainer without having to be on stage. And it’s creating experiences like these but in a more intimate setting that made me want to join this team. I want to be the behind-the-scenes entertainer for every party held at Vertigo. And when people look back at their event photos 10 years from now, whether it is a wedding or another social event, our team will forever be a part of that memory. It’s like our work is being immortalized. Now, that’s an amazing feeling to have on an everyday basis!
MICHAEL KAY
I’m very particular about celebratory environments – there I said it. But it’s not about the music, it’s not about the lights. It’s not about the food, the floor-plan, the flowers or the fancy fabrics. It’s about all of it. I yearn for higher heights.

Put a bunch of really talented, passionate, forward thinking (and borderline crazy) human beings together to comprise an event producing operation. That’s what I’ve got on my hands right now. I’m the glue in the crew. Wish me luck.
KATY SAH
Growing up, I was known as the really artistic girl that listened to B.I.G and 2Pac. So it just makes sense, that I turned out to be the aggressive young lady that designs the rocking parties you hear stories about in the break room on Mondays.
ALEX GARIBYAN
I realized I was into being on stage after my first few years of dancing with the local folk group. I was tall (still am) and elected as the lead in most of the big group ensembles. The rest was history, as I’ve made a lifestyle out of making every moment of my life worthy of spotlight. I use my powers for good and not evil, cuz let’s just be real – how serious can you take someone’s selfie.
HUMAN BEINGS WE ARE…TOGETHER AS ONE.
CULINARY COLLECTIVE
We started as a small group of dreamers in 2009 and have since grown into an army of over 50. Our strengths vary along the food service spectrum, but what binds us is our passion for living.
Most prominently our drive for life translates in our efforts to create memory building celebratory environments, joining people with food, drinks & music in all sorts of spaces.
Consider that within the group our responsibilities do vary, yet our titles are the same. For we realize that we are merely a group of human beings, roaming the planet discovering different things on the way.
“Me only have one ambition, y’know. I only have one thing I really like to see happen. I like to see mankind live together – black, white, Chinese, everyone – that’s all.”
